ATN’s X-Sight II offers high-tier shooting at any hour at a mid-tier price, with video and photo capturing added into the cocktail.
The X-Sight II comes in two different magnifications: 3-14x and 5-20x. Both of them are great scopes with a load of functionality.

The night vision on the scopes is a little misadvertised on the ATN website, and they aren’t quite as good as they make them out to be. But they’re nonetheless still great, and are part of the reason that this is the best night-vision scope in the price range. But beyond the night vision, I think the real appeal of this scope line is the fact that the scopes have video and photo capture capabilities. The videos can be manually recorded, and you can also set them up to be automatically captured when the scope detects recoil. Photos are also a breeze to snap. You get to keep a permanent record of your trophy shots with next to no effort, from the view of the person shooting. That’s a superb feature! Another important perk of the recording is how useful it is for home security and general self-defense. It’s a pretty crystal clear proof of the fact that you were just standing your ground with no malicious intent. When murder charges are on the line, having video evidence is a really important thing.
The scopes come packed with features. Our favorite is the ability to set up various profiles for different scopes and ammunition. This makes changing up your loadout as easy as 1-2-3. The scopes also have an app that makes it easy to adjust with no problems. The controls on the scopes are alright, but it wouldn’t hurt for them to be more intuitive. To make matters worse, the manual is a little out of date, so you may need to go online or call for tech support, and ATN’s tech support isn’t the greatest. But for the most part, you can find everything in more recent manuals online. The scopes offer wifi and Bluetooth, which is a nice plus and lets you stay connected. The native battery life isn’t good, but this can be fixed by just shelling out for the add-on external battery pack that ATN offers. It’s not that much more and it will save you a ton of headache.
The scopes are fast to set up. ATN’s X-Sight scopes feature one-shot zeroing that lets you quickly and easily get everything in line, and it works like a charm. The result is ultra accurate shooting with tight grouping and high precision. They are a little on the heavier side, which is a pain. But all in all, you get a ton for the price, and there’s a well thought-out case that makes the scope easy to carry from place to place and makes the weight a little bit less of an issue.
All in all, I think the X-Sight IIs are super cool scopes with a really neat concept. Both the 5-20x and the 3-14x are cool concepts. Even though the more recent X-Sight 4K perfects and builds on a lot of the things that the X-Sight II line did, the X-Sight IIs are still worth every penny, especially if you’re just looking for a scope at a mid-range price with great night vision optics.
If you expect to do night shooting at a distance, like taking care of coyotes or rabid animals, then Yes, you should buy this scope. It’s also great for daytime shooting and hunting, and will let you keep your memories of your favorite shots for as long as you want to.
ATN’s X-Sight II line is superb! Hands down, at the price point, you won’t find a better set of scopes for medium to long-range shooting at any hour.
